Objective
Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids (BHDF) wanted to gain market share, control costs, and improve the commercial acumen of the organization. Balanced Growth Consulting partnered with EAS to deliver strategic recommendations to BHDF and establish a Transformation Management Office to help it manage enterprise projects.
Results
Developed a global business development strategy to organize the sales force, deploy additional sales capacity in emerging markets, and improve the profitability of existing clients and new deals through more effective commercial management.
Made global supply chain management recommendations including hiring a new supply chain executive, improving processes, and lowering inventory and transportation costs.
Led the fact-finding efforts to determine commercial training needs in the UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia. Envisioned a global commercial training strategy to raise the skills over 400 managers and staff across the world.
Designed and implemented a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to coordinate dozens of product development, business development, and operations projects.
